When you need to access your bank account without a password, there’s now a way to do it with your Android phone
The new Google Authenticator app has been available for a few weeks now and, at its current version, it can be used to log in to any of the world’s major banks without any need to have an account or log in with your Google account.
This means that it’s possible to access any account from any location and you can use it to pay for things like groceries and gas without ever having to open a browser or open up a tab.
If you don’t have an existing account and you just want to log into a bank account with your phone, you can easily do so by opening the app on your Android device and then selecting “authenticator”.
The Google Authenticators are actually very small devices and, once set up, can be set up to perform just about any authentication action that you’d expect from a bank.
In order to use it, you need a Google Authentication token, which you can find in your Google Account, or alternatively, a QR code or a QR Code-capable NFC tag that is already attached to your phone.
The QR code on the left is a valid Google Authenticating token, while the one on the right is an NFC tag.
Once you have your Google Authentications set up on your device, you then need to add them to your bank’s account in the “Account” section of your “My Banking” menu.
You’ll see your Google Accounts information on the top of the page, and if you have any accounts linked to it, they’ll be highlighted.
To add an account, simply select it from the “My Accounts” menu and then choose “Add Account”.
If you don, your account will be added to your Google Wallet account and all of your purchases will be credited to your account.
You can then access your account from there.
If your account has been added to a bank, you’ll also be able to view the transaction history of that account and add transactions as well.
While it’s easy to add an additional bank account, it’s a little more complicated to set up a PIN code or an NFC-capably-nested NFC tag for it.
Here’s what to do if you dont have an old bank account or donts have an active Google Authenticant account: If you havent added a new account in a while, it may be easier to just do a full reset on your phone using Google Authenticaion.
To do this, go to your Android Device Settings app and select “Reset Device Settings” from the main menu.
If this option doesnt show up, make sure that “Google Authenticator” is turned on in the list of apps youre using and that its selected from the menu.
Select “Resetting device settings”.
After the reset, you will see a new Google account in your “Google Accounts” section, and a new “Accounts” section will open up.
Now, if youve added a Google Account in the past, you should see it listed there too.
If not, you may need to go to the “Manage Google Accounts” tab and then click on the “Add” button in the lower-right corner of the account page.
If this hasnt happened yet, youll need to re-create an account.
From here, you simply need to select your existing Google Account from the list and then “Add”. Once youm done, your Google accounts information will be updated with the new account and it should now show up on the account details screen.
Lastly, you still need to use your phone to make purchases in your bank accounts and from there, you might want to make sure to log back into your account and sign in.
So there you have it, a quick tutorial on how to set things up with your bank and how to authenticate your Google login.
It’s certainly a bit of a step up from setting up a bank on your own.
